A Writing Piece by my Friend, Steve
“The world's utmost dilemma must be the most asked question throughout time:
"Who or what is the cause for “this event” which has befallen me?”
This dilemma of dilemma's will never be answered for there is no answer for a question that is but an accusation appended with a question mark. We may die many times in what we perceive as this lifetime. The last time I died and crawled my way from the darkness, I realized I could not believe wholeheartedly in a single religion. I had gathered treasures that resonated with me, yet every time I asked the world's utmost dilemma question the answers were un-tethered to what felt like truth.
As a contrarian, I decided to build my belief system from the ground up. I would not use any concept that required the lubrication of “well, that's just a mystery.” Why in the name of God, should we, his children, be ignorant of His will? The only answer would be because He was/is not Benevolent. Period. As a father, I would never allow my children, especially confused and innocent children asking for guidance to hurt themselves or wallow in mystery, and I could not, nor would not bring myself to believe in, let alone serve such a God. Therefore I chose to serve the God of Love, the God of Joy, the God of all that is GO0D as the foundation of my reconstructed spiritual self. I chose to serve that which birthed Life and Love as an Extension of it's Joy For Life and Love.
Are what we call humans created in His image and likeness? Does God reside in a separate form from all that is? Are we, immortal spirit in a body that can suffer and die. Not hardly. If we are created in His image and likeness, and immortal, then what's the reason for the body. Remember, no mysteries! Is the body who we really are? Can something that can suffer and question and not know, and seek and not find, only to die be what the Savior of Life willed? No.
God is innocent, and being created in his image, so too then are we. Innocent, pure, spirit.
There is no way the infinite can become it's opposite.
There is no way a child of Life could choose death and succeed.
There is such a thing though, as temporary insanity, a walkabout, a dream… there's something happening here.
It's not the players, God or us, it's the playing field; cause and effect, time and space, beginning and end. It is true that all things birthed in time, in time, will end in time. But not us. Either we are not real or time is not real. It has to be one or the other. We existed before our arrival to this world and we will continue after our departure. So, what's the answer.
The world can not be real. God could not have created the 'world', but he did create the beautiful living earth. The world is the opposite of heaven. Here we seem to be isolated, alone, in danger, in peril, confused. As the children of Creation we inherited The Power of Creation. What makes more sense to me it that some of the eternally innocent yet misguided, children of creation took an idea that should have been laughed and and moved on from, yet instead we took seriously the question, “I wonder what the opposite of heaven looks like?" And we got sucked into a Jumanji like world game. We will have as many deaths as it takes for us to figure out the “Game of Life".
Here are some of its rules:
Man was so grateful that God created him, that man decided to repay the favor and created a god in his own image.
Each player enters the game, naked, ignorant, and defenseless. The world is your adversary, though few ever figure that out.
To live on Easy Street is to effectively sit out the game until the next go around.
Those who risk much, gain much.
There is never lose, merely the illusion of it.
Look for the complex, disregard the simple
Project what is unresolved in yourself onto others.
If you can't see it, or feel it, it can't be real.
Keep your feet on the ground and your head out of the clouds
Man was so grateful that God created him, that man decided to repay the favor and created a god in his own image ......
We are in a game called life and death, but it is a game we can never really lose based on who we are. It will take us time to successfully complete the game of time. Those who appear to be put upon, who have learned to see only the love in every situation and in everyone will gain more than they could in a hundred lifetimes of Easy Street.
I confess that the sorrows and miseries of this world have seemed real to me, but in my belief system, they cannot be real if God is Good. Each of us is on our own journey back through the eye of the needle, as we retrace the steps we took to enter this virtual world made of nothing but energy and some crazy perceptions. We all die, many times in this life, and we will die many more times to come until we 'die' as Christ and are resurrected, and move on from the game of life and death to LIFE ETERNAL, or some other venture, who knows, with an eternity, and the heart of Love as our source, we can't go wrong, we might go long, but never wrong.
