See You Again
September 14, 2018
Me:
Good morning my sweet and faithful friend. I guess it’s time for me to embrace the fact that you’re actually not going to be an arms-length away from me anymore. I wish I took more advantage of how close in distance we really were. I’ll be forever grateful for the many moments of life you invested in me, prayed over me, and loved on me.
My life continues to become more challenging, as I just become more thankful for all of it. Had two turns of events not happened, I could have left this planet never seeing, never knowing. I’m so very grateful it was God’s plan that our paths should cross. Not only cross, but wallow in some of life’s deepest pits and challenges together. I love your family, each and every one of them. They are inspiring, encouraging, and an example of Christ living in us. We all need a re-glimpse of what that needs to look like sometimes. You and your husband have grown a little tribe of lights. No wonder God is moving y’all again. Light needs to be spread around. I love you beyond words. My heart is so sad to see you leave my comfort zone, but I praise God for what I know He’ll do with each of you, wherever you are. I’ll see you again.
Me a few days later:
And so you’re off.... my sincere and heartfelt compliment on being the truest and most devoted of friends to the masses. You’re lovely and I wish blessing after blessing to you and your beautiful crew, all of whom I admire and love beyond words. There’s just no way I won’t be thinking of you often my sweet friend. My love, hugs and good vibes go with you. Peace.
My friend:
Thank you so much, my friend. You are such an encouragement to my heart. Please keep in touch! I will never forget you and your sweet family, either. You have done an outstanding job of raising them and I have learned so much from you. Thank you, God, for my friend and please keep her and bless her in the days to come! You are LOVED dear one!
