The Same Three Dreams

In another blog post I tell about a very moving dream that I had and the crazy experience that followed. I chose to share this dream with a family member and then sent him this message a few days later.

Me:

Good morning! I’m regretting sharing my dream. That was pretty insensitive. I do think God gives us things perfectly, intentionally, and to ultimately to bless us. We all just thought it was cool that God would knock our socks off with such similar dreams. That we would all see how loved and appreciated you are. I felt the pull to share it with you so that you may see it too. Please forgive me if I’ve overtired or offended you in any way. I love you very much. Please know my heart...that I’d never mean to hurt you… no matter what stupid stuff I say.

His Response:

Oh gosh Donna, it wasn’t insensitive, at all! I’m so glad you shared it. I love it when God speaks in that way, honestly. I even meant to ask you what you thought the dream meant or what you think God may have been saying through it? I think it’s very cool.

You could never offend me! I love you!

Me:

Awww, emotional relief!  Honestly, it was all very comforting. It felt like God fulfilling His promises to never leave us or forsake us. To see Steven love on you like a brother and take pleasure in the beauty of how God cares for us, namely the gift of putting you in our lives. The fact that I know you were seeking His will on this journey AND that you were obedient. Steven was showing how delighted he is with you and how well you’re loving the lives of his life. Lots of love going on here. And that’s the whole point! You are an amazing human. Callie and Simon deserve the best... and they got it.
