The Cancer is Back

A text to my daughter.

Me:

So, I just had a meeting with my oncologist and my cancer is wide awake once again. I start chemo infusion once again next Tuesday.  But I'm excited, truly. I just see it as so many more opportunities in another season of life. Operative word being LIFE!  Potentially more amazing conversations with God and new realities and images imposed in my mind, my whole being. It's going to be awesome. I'll thank you ahead for your continued support and love. I appreciate y'all so much.  

My daughter:

We love you. Thank you so much for continuing to fight! I don't doubt for a second that you've got this.
