This is a text conversation between myself and two of my sons. I thought it was worth saving. I know I'll feel very grateful to have it to look back on someday. It’s the small things….

Me:

Kevin and Brian, Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much for not giving up on me way back when. I'm old and all of this could have passed me by and I could have died without being aware of much on this earth.  Thanks for loving me enough to keep trying.  I'm getting there, ever so heartbreakingly slow. I love you.

Kevin:

But who are you thanking?…  Who did not give up on You, way back when? You're old and all of this could have passed you by and You could have died without being aware of much on this earth. Who did this?  Who keeps trying? Who's getting there?  Ever so heartbreakingly slow.  I love you
